Great stalactite cave, relatively informal guided tour in Greek and English. Duration approx. 45 minutes. Visit to the nearby museum is included (8€ 2024).

Beautiful cave in Petralona. Worth a visit and a great opportunity to cool down during the really hot summer, as the cave's temperature stays at 17°C. It was reopened February 2024 after being closed for renovation and restoration. If visiting from the European Union with children, the children are free. Regular entrance is 8€. Check out the cave's website for more information. The museum next to the cave is still closed for renovation. https://petralonacave.gr/

There's something very special about being surrounded by ancient forest. The trees here have been around for hundreds of years. It's well worth pausing for a moment to obverse the peace and quiet amongst these rustling giants.

Nice waterfall, the way to get there is relatively easy. To get to the waterfall itself, however, a little climbing over rocks was necessary.
