On the southern shore of Þorskafjörður lies Buná, a waterfall that cascades directly from the mountain into the sea. It's not one of the tallest or most famous waterfalls, but its location makes it unique: freshwater meets the fjord in a quiet corner, away from the crowds. A perfect place to stop, listen to the roar of the water, and experience the contrast between sea and mountains that defines the Westfjords.

Dynjandi A nearly 100m-high veil of water cascading over six smaller sisters. The 15-minute climb is easy, and each stop offers a different view. There are no cafes or services nearby: just pure nature and a breathtaking silence.
