The Bohnenland/Brielow/Fohrde military training area was a firing range of the National People's Army (NVA). It was abandoned after reunification and is now a natural area. The remaining, relatively intact buildings are occasionally used by vagrants and graffiti artists.

The entire former training area stretched almost as far as Brandenburg and is criss-crossed with old tank roads, a fantastic area for MTB

Unfortunately, some trails on the Ziebchenberg have been largely destroyed by motocross riders. The thin layer of vegetation on this sand hill is extremely vulnerable and the usual rules should also be observed when mountain biking. It is sad to see how some "people" behave in nature.
