The Salbithütte is a Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) mountain hut located at 2,105 metres above sea level in the Göscheneralptal in the canton of Uri. Built in 1931 and subsequently expanded, it offers 58 beds and is open from mid-June to mid-October. The hut is an ideal starting point for hikers and mountaineers, thanks to the sharp ridges, mighty towers and granite slabs around the Salbitschijen. A notable attraction is the Salbitbrücke, a 90-metre-long suspension bridge, which connects the Salbithütte to the Voralphütte, offering a unique experience for experienced hikers and those free from vertigo.

We - over-60s with good mountain skills - descended from the Cabanna Cadlimo through the Val Cadlimo to the Lukmanier Pass. The common description that the route is mostly on easy-to-walk paths is a dangerous understatement. It goes over long stretches over boulder fields, which require very good surefootedness and balance. Then down over some smooth rock ledges, which are secured with chains. So it's not all that easy!

Nice corner for hiking and resting. Circular routes are possible. Being sure-footed and not afraid of heights would be an advantage.

Visited by mountain hikers from all directions. The hut is located on the Four Sources Path, on the main continental watershed between the Rhine and Ticino/Po, in a landscape characterized by mountain lakes. Ibex like to show up on the ridges around Cadlimo. Easy ridge and summit ascents, circular tours, transitions, a small climbing garden and swimming in one of the lakes around the Cadlimohütte complete the mountain experience.

Were today for the first time at the Badushütte. Nice hospitality and a mega plus point, you can now also pay by card. Since 2019 there have been new toilets including a washroom.
