Bründl Chapel near Antiesenhofen Climb 76 steps down the Inn river bank to reach one of Antiesenhofen's most popular destinations. "s'Bründl" is what the people of Antiesenhofen call their pilgrimage chapel. Somewhat hidden away, not far from the village of Viehausen, the sanctuary is much visited. Inside the Bründl Chapel, a statue of the Virgin Mary with her divine son on her lap sits enthroned on the altar. The miraculous image depicting the Madonna is attached to the uppermost part of the altar. Next to the wooden chapel is a small spring, a water source believed to have healing powers. "s'Bründl" is a place for contemplation, meditation, and prayer. Since the site is located directly on the Inn cycle path, the chapel is also a popular detour for cyclists. There is also a snack bar at this spot, open on weekends, right next to the cycle path.
