Thanks to a lucky rug, I found this wonderful spot. The shelter 'BÅSTAFORSEN' is located on a promontory at Storfärden in the village of Marma. It is only accessible on foot or by bike.

The views of the deep blue water surrounding Ängskärsundet are stunning, with plenty of wildlife to keep an eye out for.

An interesting structure built out of wooden poles. Likely used as a marker for those travelling on the lake.

Full of Moskitos and cows/cow shit.

in summer there are mosquitoes

Nice little campsite, service building very clean. The lake invites you to swim, you can eat and shop in the village.

There's a fireplace and a birdwatching tower here. There's also a parking spot for cars available.
