The Parish Church of Santo André de Cedeira is a beautiful example of 18th-century Baroque architecture. Located in the parish of Cedeira, in Redondela, this church was designed by the renowned architect Fernando de Casas Novoa, who is also known for his work on the Obradoiro façade of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. The cemetery attached to the church also has great historical value. At its entrance, you can read an inscription that reads: “Gloria eterna a cantos aquí xacen e que nos deron a vida, a terra e a lingua” (Eternal glory to all those who lie here and who gave life, land and language)⛪

Redondela is a wonderful place to visit! Also, Redondela is known for its local festivities such as the Festa da Coca and the Summer Carnival, which are events full of color and tradition. 🚶‍♀️😎🌄

This garden is close to the Statue of Castelao and the Fountain of Santiago. The Alameda has been named after Castelao, a prominent nationalist intellectual and politician, since 19822. In the centre of the garden, you will find a full-length sculpture of Castelao, funded by the neighbourhood and the Redondela Town Hall. It is an ideal place to stroll and enjoy nature and local history.🚶‍♀️😎🌄
