A 100 m long path leads to the bird hut in the ship. The large station has three spacious observation windows and several seating areas.

This construction was called "Four Rod Mountains". The roof was movable in the original. Mayor Volker Lorenzen told me that if you want to spend the night here, you should first obtain the consent of the municipality of Dörpling.

Nice little kiosk with fair prices and a view of the Eider. Especially recommended with the beach chairs as it is a bit windy
