Fantastic paths lead through the forest up to the Blasenfluh. I was completely alone up there, the peace and quiet and the view of the Alps is unique! Nice places to sit.

If you take the route north-east, it's a very steep climb up here from the Oberthal side - over 20%. But the views are magnificent and from here on it's practically flat with slight undulations up and down.

At 1,118 meters, the Blasenfluh (also Blasenflue) is the highest point in the communities of Oberthal, Signau and Lauperswil. Several hiking trails meet here and you have a great view of the surrounding forests.
