2월 18, 2025, villaggio e nuraghe Bruncu Madugui
The German-language television series “Treasures of the World – Heritage of Humanity” – which I can recommend without reservation – devotes a quarter-hour report to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the “NURAGHI” in Sardinia and the traditional shepherds’ song known there as “Canto a Tenore”. The accompanying text to the programme states: “Over seven thousand round towers made of stone blocks weighing several tons are scattered all over Sardinia. Often only the stumps of these megalithic buildings, called nuraghi, remain. The first were built around 1400 BC. Small stones were placed between the mighty blocks, a construction method that made the stone towers safe from collapse." This article (episode 413 of the series) can be accessed in the ARD media library at the following link => https://www.ardmediathek.de/video/schaetze-der-welt/sardinien/3sat/Y3JpZDovL3N3ci5kZS8xNTg4MzM5MA

6월 23, 2024, Laguna di Marceddì
The road that runs along the Marceddì and San Giovanni lagoons is a marvel to cycle on. It is mostly flat with some slight slopes, and you can admire lake landscapes on one side (with flamingos!) and mountain landscapes on the other. If you don't want to pass through the Pistis/Torre dei Corsari valleys, this flat route is equally fascinating!

worthy itinerary, it's a pity that the route indicated by the route is sometimes impracticable and therefore you have to change roads, for the return the cycle path from the arborea ends at a certain point in the middle of the reeds and you have to take the state road, which is very busy and dangerous.

11월 29, 2023, Torre di Flumentorgiu
The Flumentorgiu tower, located a short distance from the splendid beach of Torre dei Corsari (whose name refers to this tower), was built by the Spanish towards the end of the 16th century to monitor and defend against the maritime incursions of Saracen pirates. Classified as a "torre de armas", it was capable of resisting any type of naval attack. The sea views from here are naturally expansive and spectacular.

2월 27, 2023, Nuraghe Genna Maria
Nuraghe Genna Maria is a nuraghe with a complex structure dating back to 3500 years ago. It is located in a dominant position over the entire Marmilla area, with a view that reaches the Gulf of Oristano and the city of Cagliari 50 km away. In nearby Villanovaferru there is the Archaeological Museum, where the precious finds of the Nuragic and post-Nuragic community are kept.
