A stretch of cycle/pedestrian path between Posto Rosso and Torre Suda, part of the La Ciclonica cycle-tourist route, which winds along the cliff less than ten metres from the sea. Beautiful to follow with your gaze turned towards the sea, a little less so if you turn your eyes towards the hinterland where the massive cementation is evident.

A beautiful cycle path crosses the dunes near the beach. I expect it to be very busy in the summer, but you may enjoy cycling in the spring.

This stretch of road from Baia Verde to Canale dei Samari has been forbidden to cars since 2022 and the white beach and crystal clear sea make the place spectacular. The road passes very close to the dunes, so be careful with road bikes as the wind can accumulate sand on the path.

This beautiful stretch of dirt road in red clay allows you to move away from the coastal road and travel a stretch immersed in nature close to the sea. You cycle along reclamation canals surrounded by large sand dunes covered with Mediterranean vegetation. Just cross one of the many bridges that cross the canal to reach the splendid Pali beach and find yourself in a truly heavenly landscape.

The historic center of Gallipoli is certainly one of a kind: the fortified citadel in fact stands on a limestone islet connected to the mainland by a masonry bridge dating back to the 17th century. Walking through the narrow alleys of the old city at sunset is a truly unmissable experience. As unmissable is the flavor of the "puccia" from Salento, a sandwich with a dough similar to pizza whose fillings vary from octopus to burrata and which can be eaten here in various "puccerie".
