Very beautiful waterfall, located right on the outskirts of Faido. There are parking spaces nearby, and there is a wonderful rest and barbecue area on the Ticino. With a short walk you can also reach the waterfall from above, an absolutely premium place to relax for a few minutes or hours. Reachable from the A2 in 5 minutes, the place is also ideal for a relaxing break on your vacation.

Beautiful park on the Ticino river for a break or just to relax, plenty of places to sit, sunbathe, barbecue areas, toilets and a large children's playground. Drinks, snacks and ice cream are also sold on weekends.

The Piumogna waterfall is a natural wonder of Ticino, 43 meters high. It is located near the town of Faido, and is easily accessible for a not too demanding ride. It is also an ideal place for relaxation or for a picnic thanks to the equipped areas nearby.

The waterfall of Piumognas is 43 meters high, one of the most spectacular of Ticino! For nature lovers an unmissable attraction, even if you only have a few hours in the Leventina Valley. It is within easy walking distance, free parking is available nearby. The suspension bridge over the stream gives the powerful waterfall its name, visitors can watch from here this natural spectacle of rare beauty. For a cozy break in the countryside there is a picnic area with tables. If you want to stretch your legs, you will explore the mountain along the trail and find other impressive waterfalls. The source of the torrent, on the other hand, can only be reached by means of demanding mountain climbs and is thus reserved for experienced mountain climbers. They will be pleased to have the opportunity to rest in the Campo Tencia hut. The torrent of Piumogna rises from a small mountain lake, only the size of a room, and is located 2'482 m above sea level.
