A great tour that we really enjoyed. In order not to have to walk the same route to and from Hirnichopf twice, we walked the official hiking trail shortly after the start to Hirnichopf. A small trail with steps and lots of variety. When descending from Hirnichopf again on the "official" path, I had to say: "If I had had to go up here..." (a climb from here would definitely have made my pulse race). So it's better to use the official hiking trail shortly after the start. A short stop at the Metingerbeg restaurant also refreshed us. Otherwise the route was great and we liked the view! Thank you

Barbecue area with a beautiful view. A few meters further up, the officially highest point in the canton of Baselland (1169 m). For an even better panorama, be sure to visit the Chellenchöpfli (with panorama boards)

Beautiful tightrope walks are very good, but sure-footedness is required. This tour can actually be done all year round, be careful when there is snow it can also be dangerous, I would recommend doing this in the warm months as it is also safer.

An absolutely fantastic view of the landscape. There are at least two ways to the highest point of Basel Land - we probably chose the more difficult way :). The descent was then relatively short. Good shoes are an advantage.

Very easy to get to with the mountain railway. Many actions start from here. In summer you can rent scooters here and drive down into the valley. In winter you toboggan down. Numerous hikes start here. And here is also the entrance to the high ropes course.

The highest point of BL but a little further down, on the Chellenchöpfli, the view is a lot better. ;-)

There is a large rope park right next to the mountain station. For panoramic hikes, it is worth climbing up to Hinteri Egg, Chellenchöpfli or Passwang... of course you can also combine them all.
