The lake is now virtually closed off. The owner allows fishing upon request. It's still a very idyllic spot.

Very nice private domain, which is easily accessible for walkers. You can stay there quietly for a while, there is a relaxation area. There is a beautiful pond and a beautiful view! Access to this domain is with a gate, which you have to close again after your passage

The walking path runs in a large curve around the lake, it is dangerous to walk along the banks themselves: quicksand.

This pond is private property, completely closed by a wire

Unfortunately, I just discovered that the lake will be completely fenced in... a shame. 😕 Still a nice sight

A lot has been done around the pond over the last year. There are now 2 jetties and the vegetation around them has been severely thinned out. Looks a lot prettier and neater now.

You have access to the dam by this road. The work itself is really impressive, especially when water is released from it.
