The balcony path overlooks the Romanche gorges. You can admire the bends formed by the arms of the river in the valley but also some specimens of local fauna. Open your eyes and you may see ibexes or even birds of prey that love to circle above the gorges.

The Pont d'Asfeld, located in the Alpes-Maritimes, is a historic bridge built in the 18th century by the engineer Vauban. It spans the Var River and is notable for its stone architecture. See the imposing fortress of Citadel de Briançon. Just after the bridge there is a challenging slope with rock formations, which you should be able to cycle up on a gravel bike with a little dexterity. If you dare to look over the edge of the bridge, you will see the hundreds of meters deep gorge with the waterfalls of the Durance river.

The Pont d'Asfled is a stone bridge with a single arch that spans the turbulent waters of the Durance, 60 meters below. Built in the 18th century, the bridge has been listed as a historical monument since 1988. It is also famous for thrill-seekers and bungee jumpers.

The climb to Chambaran from the Route de Pelvoux is 6.35 km long with an average gradient of 7.3%. It is a very nice climb to do because it is very calm. It's a dead end, so there's not much traffic.
