Located at an altitude of 1,500 meters at the Col de l'Arzelier, the Soldanelle refuge was built in 1968. Its terrace offers a breathtaking view of the valley. A lovely newly renovated unguarded refuge that sleeps 22. There is no water supply nearby.

Nice hotel and good restaurant. Ideal starting point for hikes if you don't have a car. Very nice team, always ready to give tips for hikes.

The Tubanet refuge has 22 beds as well as a beautiful living room with two large tables and a stove. It was recently renovated.

In winter snow, you can only reach the auberge by foot, but for the rest of the year you can also ride or drive to the friendly restaurant in the mountains. Enjoy some authentic home cooked food from this family-run cabin. Check out more at: http://www.malaterre.fr/
