Small, very well-equipped refuge. Sleeping accommodation for 6, a BBQ outside and a small stove inside.

Located at an altitude of 1,500 meters at the Col de l'Arzelier, the Soldanelle refuge was built in 1968. Its terrace offers a breathtaking view of the valley. Nice hotel and good restaurant. Ideal starting point for hikes if you don't have a car. Very nice team, always ready to give tips for hikes.

Nice place to stop over before starting the great crossing of the Vercors or to take a break after this crossing.

Here is a superb little refuge nestled in a beautiful clearing under the cliff. Perfect for a bivouac or more simply, for a picnic.
