You are at the end of the only road that runs through the area and Sorfjorden. The environment here is very well preserved, far from everything, and the landscape shows no signs of human presence, apart from the Langnesbu small cabin.

The Tverbrennstua is a DNT cabin, locked with a DNT key, and consists of two cabins. Both are equipped with a large living room and several beds, some even with family rooms (double beds). The cabins are located close to a road and parking lot (approx. 2 km) and are therefore easily accessible.

Two beautiful DNT cabins. One cabin was locked with the DNT key, the other was open. With a view of Bjellåvatnet Lake from the living room, there's also the option of using boats available in the boathouse on the lake, which is locked with the DNT key. The cabin has several bedrooms, with two to four beds, a stove for warming up, gas cooking rings, and a large living room for relaxing. The lake itself has a beautiful pebble beach, but swimming requires some courage; the water is ice-cold, even in summer!
