A paved trail has recently been added to the area.

Access to the park is via two automatic gates. It's open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Don't go where the path can take you, go instead where the path is not yet there and leave a trail behind you...........

Good to know is that there is only 1 entrance (via Guglielmo Oberdan). Some of the park roads that are listed on Komoot are either closed with a fence or with turnstiles so that they can only be used as an exit. In the worst case you have to walk the entire park on the outside to get in, like I did :-).

The so-called Redino area has been designated as a public park: the lamination tanks function as a hydraulic structure only in the event of exceptional meteorological events, typically once or twice a year. Already equipped with a small area for skateboarding and a structure for free-body gymnastics, 442 native trees and shrubs were recently planted in the area thanks to the regional urban forestation project "Let's lay down roots for the future"

In 2023, the redevelopment work on the oldest part of the gardens was completed, on the Piazzale della Vittoria side, the fountains were restored, the paths and flowerbeds were arranged, eliminating the state of degradation of recent years. There is currently construction on the duck pond, so it is empty of water. I would also add that near the Viale Spazzoli entrance there is a kiosk offering bar and piadina service.
