Fantastic paths lead through the forest up to the Blasenfluh. I was completely alone up there, the peace and quiet and the view of the Alps is unique! Nice places to sit.

Moosegg is a great excursion destination for road bikes, mountain bikes or gravel bikes. The ascent to Moosegg is a highlight, the view is phenomenal!

If you take the route north-east, it's a very steep climb up here from the Oberthal side - over 20%. But the views are magnificent and from here on it's practically flat with slight undulations up and down.

Very well maintained castle and garden. Also a very beautiful view towards the west and the Stockhorn range.
