So you can't walk around the Hinterer See. There is no proper way, or none at all. Only the forest road to the Almwirtschaft.

Beautiful view of the Dachstein, rear Gosausee and Hohe Holzmeisteralm. Very good selection of food, self-service. Hot meals. Opening times late May - early October. Closed when it rains and in winter. No overnight stay. Reachable in 1.5 hours from the PP at the front of the Gosausee on a forest road. Large guest garden, 20 indoor seats.
