The Galterntal with its Galtern Gorge is a real leisure and natural paradise. Along the gorge, countless bridges, arches, footbridges and walkways line the steep walls. The countless stairs, footbridges and bridges lead you through the Galterengraben (La vallée du Gottéron) along the Galterenbach (Galtera = Gottéron) from Tafers to the lower town of Freiburg/Fribourg.
