The gorge near Vitznau, often called the Vitznau Gorge, lies between the village center and the ascent towards Rigi. A short hiking trail leads through steep cliffs, over bridges, and alongside a clear stream. The natural spectacle, with its waterfalls and moss-covered walls, is particularly impressive after rain.

Several small waterfalls and streams flow across the hiking trail. Wet feet are possible. Crystal-clear water for cooling off.

So many streams flow into Lake Zug that I stopped counting. But I had to stop here. A beautiful waterfall!!! And the lake, Rigi, Pilatus, what more could you want?

A place of stillness and meditation. Simply gorgeous, mystical and relaxing!
