On the course of the Alzou, sheltered by the cliffs that form its gorges, pretty little waterfalls dot the path. An invitation to refresh before arriving in Gramat.
You can easily reach the foot of the waterfall in just over half an hour from Autoire (follow the signs). From here the path begins in serpentines up the rocks - difficult, but worth it because of the great view!
This huge pool is illuminated from below and has several natural dams inside it. When the water has reached the outer edge of the lake, it runs down several steps in a thundering waterfall. Uniquely beautiful.
Shortly after Lacave, on the way to the Ouysse Gorges, you'll encounter some beautiful waterfalls. Surrounded by cliffs and meadows, this is the perfect place for a night's bivouac, lulled by the roar of the waterfalls.
Imposing 80 m high waterfall at Autoir, only accessible on foot. Here you have to leave your bikes up and walk about 500 m steeply. But it's worth it. Then …
From here you have a great view of the waterfall from above. You have to push your bikes up three flights of stairs and about 150 m over scree, but it's worth it.
