This spacious area with large chestnut trees and tables is ideal for a picnic day with or without children. There are also small barbecues for grilling. I haven't noticed any prohibition 🚫 on making fires, as the danger is minimal. The surroundings are completely clean and well-kept.

Cospeito Lagoon, also known as Santa Cristina Lagoon, is one of the most important wetlands in Galicia, located in the municipality of Cospeito, about 25 km north of Lugo, within the Terra Chá region. The lagoon and its wet meadows are home to a wide variety of species.

El Castro Candaz are the remains of a pre-Roman fortress and later medieval fortress, located between the mouth of the Lama River and the River Envionde on the Miño River, in the parish of Pedrafita (Chantada, Lugo). It is currently flooded by the waters of the embalse de Belesar.

Nature reserve and area of great beauty for birds and wildlife. The trails around the lakes are worth exploring

Remains of a pre-Roman fort located between the mouth of the river da Lama and the river Enviande. Later it was a medieval fortress, but currently the area is partly under the waters of the Belesar reservoir.
