From this platform you can enjoy the view over Kyrenia/Girne and the ruins of Bellapais Abbey. This is a Gothic monastery ruin in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It stands next to the small town of Beylerbeyi/Bellapais on a rocky outcrop in the Kyrenia Mountains, approx. 6 km southeast of the town of Kyrenia/Girne. Previous names were "Abbey de la Paix - Abbey of Peace", "Bellapaix - Beautiful Peace", and also "White Abbey" because of the white habits of the Premonstratensians.
