The geotope is recommended at any time of year. The path there from Heimlichleiden is beautiful, partly steep uphill and downhill along the crossroads! Rare flowers can be seen in spring and many different trees and bushes along the path

Schweinbachtal from Schweinbach > a geotope (excerpt from the Bavarian Environmental Atlas) The Schweinbachtal is a typical asymmetrical valley with a terrain shape that often occurs in the Tertiary hill country, especially in valleys facing north-south. Due to the periglacial overprinting, the valley cross-section is clearly asymmetrical with flat slopes exposed to the northeast and steep valley sides sloping to the southwest. In the lower section of the valley, the original morphology has been changed by anthropogenic influences (building, water and road construction). https://www.umweltatlas.bayern.de/standortauskunft/rest/reporting/sb_geotope/generate?additionallayerfieldvalue=261R003

Teisbachtal near Teisbach (extract from the Bavarian Environmental Atlas) The Teisbachtal shows the cross section of an "asymmetric valley" with steep flanks exposed to the west and flat to the east. On the west side, a terrace runs along the estuary into the Isar valley to Oberteisbach. Asymmetrical valleys have formed due to differential erosion with soil flow in non-glaciated areas, mainly along N-S running streams, characterized by the cold climate. Post-glacial erosion transformed the valley into a sole valley. https://www.umweltatlas.bayern.de/standortauskunft/rest/reporting/sb_geotope/generate?additionallayerfieldvalue=279R003

Salzdorfer Tal near Kumhausen > a geotope (extract from the Bavarian Environmental Atlas Asymmetrical valley with layered springs along the bentonite horizon at 470 m above sea level. The relocation of the stream in the 19th century brought about a significant change in the shape of the valley in a short space of time. https://www.umweltatlas.bayern.de/standortauskunft/rest/reporting/sb_geotope/generate?additionallayerfieldvalue=261R004

A beautiful hiking section in the valley and meadow at the end of which is the small hamlet of Salzdorf with its milk filling station.
