When you get to the end of the river, follow the yellow arrows.

At the beginning follow the white arrows to get to the grottos then follow the yellow markings.

Good place for a lunch break; there are stalls with food and fresh juices.

I only saw them from the road but it's worth seeing.

Several caves in the gorge area beg for exploration. Here several are stacked into the canyon walls. The lower seems used by herders.

The Cave of Hercules is surrounded by various legends. One of the most famous stories claims that the cave was once used by Hercules, the famous hero of Greek mythology. According to legend, Hercules rested here while erecting the Pillars of Hercules, which mark the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. Another story says that the grotto was a mysterious place where Hercules planned his adventures and regenerated his strength. We visited the cave for 160 DHM for two people. 10 dirhams is approximately 1€.

We made this hike to visit the caves facing the sea. Unfortunately, they are only accessible at low tide. Instead, we took a tour of prehistoric rock formations created by the sea, which we really enjoyed. It was a bit of an adventure.
