Capo Pertusato - A pirate beach like something out of a picture book! In the very south of Corsica, with a view of Sardinia, lies a scenic highlight of the island that is not only adventurous for children. A trip to Capo Pertusato is really extremely worthwhile. This can be done either on foot or partly by car. From Bonifacio (Chapelle Saint-Roch) a wide footpath leads along the cliffs to the cape and offers magnificent views of the city and the Strait of Bonifacio with Sardinia on the other side. The path is shadeless and should therefore be walked in the morning or evening in summer. It takes 3 hours there and back.

This cave has only a small room (less than 20 m2), but it may have been expanded with wood and plant material to create a larger habitable complex. At the end of the 19th century the cave was discovered by Forsyth-Major and the archaeological pieces taken with him. It is known that the shelter was inhabited during two different and distant periods of the Neolithic, the 6th millennium and the 3rd millennium.

Superb place. Access a little sporty but doable by taking your time. The sea is good with lots of fish that are not very shy. Provide slippers and sneakers for the climb. Watch out, some jellyfish.

The walk to the beach is really worth it. We were there all day and did a cool sup-board tour along the cliffs and through a small tunnel into a small crater.

Crystal clear water, very nice sand, slightly pointed rocks. Everyone will find a place to suit their taste here. The cell phone should only be a minor matter. The nature is much more beautiful. Sardinia is in sight. ;-)

Luckily we made this detour. The beach is very beautiful and so are the rock formations around it. From the lighthouse there is an extremely steep path down. A second, not so steep path to the beach begins on the road. Good shoes are better than beach slippers. You see them more often :-). The beach slippers can be put on below.

Incredible climb to the hole of Tafunatu. Great care is needed, but if you pay attention, the path is walkable.
