done the trail in 5 days alone in July 2023, no comment can give an idea of the feeling of happiness, freedom, tension..... Villa Castello Smilea stands at the entrance to the Agna valley along the Roman route of the Via Cassia Clodia. The building consists of two towers, one north and one south, and a lowered tower running along the north side.

Villa or "Castle" of Cafaggiolo. One of Lorenzo the Magnificent's favorite residences, built by Michelozzo Michelozzi around 1451 for the Medici family, commissioned by Cosimo the Elder. Unfortunately it is located along the fairly busy SS 65 "della Futa". Pay attention. The Villa is currently undergoing restoration.

The Castello del Trebbio is a medieval castle located in the Tuscan region of Italy near San Piero a Sieve, Florence. It is known for its beautiful architecture and location on a hilltop with a rich history dating back to the 12th century. A fountain near the castle serves as a source of drinking water for hikers on the nearby Via degli Dei trail. To reach the castle on foot from San Pietro a Sieve, follow the signs for the Via degli Dei and expect a 30-minute walk uphill.
