The initial stretch that reaches the catacombs of Cava Celone is very nice, not very clean but the trail is still clearly visible! Continuing the tour you have a stretch of road on the plateau until you reach the path again that should lead down to the valley! Dirty path, at times almost completely closed by brambles and thick vegetation!

Most likely you will find at the end of the quarry the iron gate closed with a padlock. To reach the road you will have to go back about 20 meters and you will notice part of the fence open with a beam in the center to pass through.

The Tellesimo is one of the most important rivers in the Iblei Mountains and flows all year round. Compared to other canyons in the area, Margione is less visited and therefore rather wild.

There is no real path. You walk through the rubble in the riverbed. Good coordination and sturdy shoes are an advantage.

The Tellesimo river in this stretch is present with small "urvi" because in various stretches it channels underground and then emerges further downstream. almost like a torrent

One of the most beautiful gorges near Ragusa. Some of the paths are wide and easy, others are very wild. There is water in the stream and you can swim.

A beautiful quarry in the Iblei mountains. Circular tour between pines, mastic trees, downy oaks, holm oaks and Mediterranean scrub. Fauna is also in abundance such as foxes, porcupines, martens, weasels and lots of birdlife.
