멋진 가을 하이킹! 파란색 길로 올라가 노란색 길로 내려왔으며, 이것이 순환 하이킹에 권장되는 방향임을 확인할 수 있습니다. 10월 초 평일에 방문했는데 전혀 붐비지 않았습니다. 길은 잘 표시되어 있고 표시는 찾기 쉽습니다. 다행히 길은 대부분 건조했고, 주로 두꺼운 마른 잎으로 덮여 있었습니다. 중간 난이도 등급은 타당합니다. 정상 바로 전에 기술적으로 더 까다로운 등반 구간이 있지만 충분히 가능합니다. 그 외에는 길을 걷기 쉬웠습니다(첫 절반 동안 고도를 얻지만). 적당한 오르막길의 도전을 즐겼고, 정상에서의 피크닉과 함께 멋진 경치를 감상했으며, 길이 물과 평행하게 이어지는 구간을 따라 내려왔습니다.

From this spot just below Locke's Hill summit on the Quarry Trail, you get great views through the trees of Lake Winnipesaukee. This is a great place to catch your breath and snap a few photos before continuing on your hike.

Lake Winnisquam (Winni) Scenic Trail is a paved rail trail that runs along the banks of the lake. It is completely flat and gives you great views of the lake.

Mount Major is one of the most popular peaks in the Belknap Mountains, and with good reason. At the peak, visitors get an amazing and unimpeded view of Lake Winnipesaukee. There are several trails that lead to the peak, so you can find a route that fits your level.

At the end of the trail that bears the same name, Round Pond is a beautiful lake with Mount Mack and Mount Klem as a backdrop. The lake is only accessible by the trail, so it is normally a quiet and peaceful setting, so it is a great place for a break during a run.

The Hamlin-Eames-Smyth Recreation Area is a beautiful green space near Laconia. There are several different well maintained trails that users can choose from. The park is on the banks of Lake Wicwas.
