Red Rock Pond is a small, but scenic spot in the Snake Mountain Wildlife Management Area. Surrounded by trees, reeds, and wildflowers in the spring, this pond is an excellent place to look out for songbirds and waterfowl. It is particularly stunning in the fall as the leave change colors and are reflected on the pond's surface. Red Rock Pond is a great place to stop on your way up or down Snake Mountain Peak.

Abbey Pond is a beautiful pond in the foothills of Vermont's Green Mountains. This peaceful spot is an excellent place to sip some water, look out for wildlife, and admire the views. This pond is especially stunning in the falls as the changing leaves are reflected in the calm water.

This small state park is a jewel. The shores of Lake Champlain are very quiet. You can practice many sports activities and there is even a wild campsite. It is not uncommon to see couples doing their wedding ceremonies here, because the place is really photogenic.

This wonderful preserved pond is located at the very end of the Abbey Pond Trail.

Sucker Brook is the name used for a stream created artificially by man. In this case, this route goes from the south of the Sugar Hill Reservoir to the Sucker Brook Shelter.

There are several silver lakes in the state of Vermont. This one is the smallest and is part of the Green Mountain National Forest.

You access the peak of Snake Mountain, passing first by this pond. Forest trails take you there.
