There is a lot of wildlife in and around the pond, and it's worth the trek to get back to it. Harlow Lake Trail is an easy trail that leads to the banks of Harlow Lake. You can see the lake from a bunch of different spots since the trail follows along the banks for a while. The lake is a popular destination in the fall when the leaves are all changing colors.

Depending on the height of the tide, you can walk out on a small beach and look across the water towards Little Presque Isle. This pretty much marks the most northern spot on the Shoreline Trail, even though the entire trail offers beach and lake views.

The Black Rocks at Presque Isle Park not only offer awesome views, but they also offer a great cliff jumping experience. The cliffs are easy to find right along the side of the trail, and they often times draw crowds on weekends in the summer months (usually lots of college students taking in the views of Lake Superior).
