The ascent of Pico Pienzu can be one of the most rewarding routes you'll find in the Asturian mountains. The contrast between sea and mountains at its summit will leave you speechless, and any route you choose for the climb will offer a fantastic day in the mountains.

It's a tough climb, but it's well worth it.

Whether on the road to the east or the track to the west… the final shared stretch is tough on the legs.

From here you can see the Golforí peak, accompanied by the surrounding mountains, another expression of the majesty of nature.

It is a truly spectacular place

The highest point of the Sierra El Fitu, Gobia Peak, is reached by the path surrounded by pine forests. Gobia Peak at 538 meters above sea level is an exposed point. It can be cold and windy, so don't forget to bring something warm. On a clear day, the views are spectacular.

In the Sueve there are two reference peaks: Pienzu, the highest, most famous and most traveled, and Miruenu, an almost twin peak, much less accessible, and logically almost deserted, but in my opinion much more beautiful and with the same or better views than from the Pienzu.
