At the end of the long journey along the beautiful Barosa River, you will reach this beautiful lagoon with crystal-clear waters.

Spectacular waterfall and pool. If you follow the Borosa trail, you can't miss stopping and swimming in it. In summer, the sun starts shining directly after 11:30, and the water and the bottom of the pool go from opaque black to transparent turquoise. This makes it less scary to go in, but after that time, people start to gather around this spot!

Although somewhat hidden (you must turn to the right a few meters to find it) it is a busy and refreshing place, ideal for resting before continuing with the climb.

This dam was built in 1957 and is filled with the Segura River and the Toba spring, in addition to naturally all the important contributions of water that occur along the channel. The turquoise color of its waters stands out, and that the hydroelectric plant is located, not on the dam wall, but several kilometers downstream, taking advantage of the unevenness of the terrain.

The Anchuricas dam was built with the aim of providing electricity to the area. Its main mission is to maintain constant water heights to supply the Miller hydroelectric plant (about 8 kilometers downstream from the dam to the surroundings of the hamlet of the same name). This water is led through a piped channel with a certain subhorizontal gradient, until it reaches the height of the power plant from where, together with the waters from the Embalse de la Novia, it rushes towards the turbines.
