You have to go a few meters from the path and then you will find a bird watching spot from a raised platform you have a great view

Park your bicycle at the bench if you are not afraid of someone taking it (there should be a bicycle rack!) Turn right and go to the path on the left that eventually leads through a bush to the bird hide at the foot of the Naardermeer

By blocking the lower pedestrian path, birds can no longer be observed near the shore. This can be done even further from this bird view point.
