Park your bicycle at the bench if you are not afraid of someone taking it (there should be a bicycle rack!) Turn right and go to the path on the left that eventually leads through a bush to the bird hide at the foot of the Naardermeer

Beautiful view over De Natte Graslanden. You can see many species of ducks, the Lapwing, the Egret and if you are lucky, you can also see hunting birds of prey, such as the White-tailed Eagle, the Hawk, the Hen Harrier and the Marsh Harrier.

This place is best reached on foot or by bicycle. It is a lovely spot in the woods, next to the golf course, to enjoy a drink and something to go with it. I really liked the apple pie here.

Small nature lake and resting place for local birds. One of the few unobstructed viewing spots on the lake can be found from the bird hide halfway the lake.

Bird watching hut with a beautiful unobstructed view over the Hilversumse Wasmeer. One of the few places with an unobstructed view of this lake. By the way, I have not seen many birds here in those few visits that I made. Hopefully you have better luck.
