Surprising this coffee place. Very hospitable to open your mountain hut for Walk of Wisdom hikers. Enjoyed the coffee and the view.

The house is closed off, seems to have sunk, no longer accessible

Today, the “Vogelkijkhut” is also accessible, which was previously located far out in the water desert; we walk over a narrow headland to get there, and soon exchange this place, which contrasts with the rough charm of the proximity to the big city, for the green of the meadows again.

From this floating bird hide you can spy on all the special species with your binoculars. Keep your eyes wide open!

An observation station set up in a wonderful nature reserve. It is a small wooden house that adjusts to the current water level, i.e. it rises and falls again using a special device. Wild horses and cattle running free can also be observed in the Millingerwaard. The area is definitely recommended; and you should also ride your bike away from the main paths.

Sweet old vantage point. Still looks nice from the outside and inside 👍

Well-kept facility with a nice area for tents for overnight stays, seating and a common room where you can charge electrical devices, but also watch TV and read (when the weather is not so good or you have had enough of "ship watching")

Floating birdwatching hut - the trail here can be a bit muddy.
