This beautiful nature reserve with a quiet lake and many birds is located close to the Texel lighthouse. The area is named after the rare racing bird that was spotted here in 1986. Even today you can spot all kinds of birds from this point, including the Siberian chiffchaff and the little gull. Please note: some nearby trails may be closed due to the breeding season.
