A serene lagoon in the middle of the trail, now with wide views thanks to the recent felling of the eucalyptus trees that surrounded it. The clearing allows you to better observe the surrounding landscape, with perfect reflections in the water on windless days. A great spot to rest, take photos or just listen to the silence. Access is via a dirt track, which is easy to follow. There are no support structures, it is a simple and authentic place. Bring water and protect yourself from the sun if you go in the late afternoon.

The Chã Alta dam is located at the foot of Monte Redondo. It is surrounded by a vast plain where the green disappears into the horizon.

Surrounded by beautiful and abundant trees, it is a bridge with a Romanesque arch. There are several theories regarding its construction; some argue that it was built during the reign of D. João II, in order to facilitate the King's movement when he went to meet Queen D. Leonor for a swim in Caldas, while others claim that it was built in the 19th century due to a technical issue, namely its width. Interestingly, this bridge supports two enormous pine trees at the top of the road.
