Closed in winter, but still nice to see. From here you also have a beautiful view and the Schlosshalde (inn) next to it is also recommended.

As of April 23, it's (still) under renovation, but will probably be finished very nicely. Fitted out in February 2025, but still not finished. Very unsightly concrete wall, how is something like that approved? October 25, still the same...

Right next to the Schlosshalde guesthouse (with a very beautiful garden) is the picturesque, medieval Mörsburg Castle. Opening hours: open from May to October, Wednesday to Saturday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Public tours every 3rd Sunday of the month, reservation recommended

I ride my racing bike past Girsberg Castle several times a week. The road is good and you are away from the traffic.
