This charming little shelter has picnic tables and dry toilets, both of which can come in handy on a run. There are some lovely views across the lake too.

After a run on the Haukankierros, there are few better places to refuel than Cafe Haukka. As the only cafe within Nuuksio National Park, it enjoys a fine location and is connected to several trails.

There are public toilets next door. And drinking water is very close to the parking lot by the sauna building. SUP boards can now also be rented.

Firewood is provided at the fire pits in the national park. This place is very popular because it is very easily accessible for residents of Helsinki and Espoo. Camping is permitted in the national park near these fire pits. This is why there are often hikers who like to spend the night here.

For me, this is a very nice place, as it is partly located on an island in the middle of a beautiful lake. The facilities at Holma-Saarijärvi campsite include a fire pit, a shed next to the bridge that leads to the island, and an outdoor toilet. Firewood is available and is probably provided by the National Park Authority. There is another campsite on the west bank of the lake that also has a fire pit and an outdoor toilet.
