Where the trail runs along the shore, you can admire the reflections of the clouds and trees in the calm water of the lake.

Very nice and well-equipped beach. You will find a camping area with campfire site, cooking shelters, a toilet and a rental house here.

Expect a beautiful spot for taking a break or sitting at a campfire. A small jetty invites you to hop into the lake. There is also a traditional hut at the lake shore.

Yläinen Toriseva is the uppermost of the three Toriseva gorge lakes. The narrow footpath around the lake is almost 1.5 km long. You cannot completely circumnavigate the middle of the lakes. On the other hand, at the bottom of the three, Alainen Toriseva, there is a beautiful 6.5km trail around the lake that I walked in the pre-Komoot era. There is also a very charming summer cafe, operating since 1936, with a great view over the lake from the terrace.
