It features a clean sandy shoreline, two piers, a volleyball court, grassy areas, and a playground, making it ideal for a longer stop or family outing. The beach has changing rooms and toilet facilities, and lifeguards are on duty daily from 10:00 to 16:00 during the school summer holidays. Cyclists can reach the area easily and safely, and there’s space nearby to park and lock bikes.

Lake Pyhäjärvi near Artjärvi is a large and scenic lake that stretches across Orimattila, Lapinjärvi, and Myrskylä, offering varied landscapes and quiet cycling routes. The area features forested hills, small harbours, and peaceful swimming spots, ideal for cyclists looking to combine nature with light exploration. Several gravel roads surround the lake, suitable for trekking or cross bikes. While services around the lake are sparse, the natural beauty and tranquillity make it a great destination for a full-day ride or picnic stop. It's a good alternative to more crowded lake areas in southern Finland.
