The observation tower is located next to the Järnväg Hjo Stenstorp and can be reached via a narrow footbridge. From here you have a great view of the lake and, with a little perseverance, you can take part in the life of the bird world.

The playground right by the harbor of Hjo invites you to take a break. The children can play and the parents can enjoy the break with a beautiful view of the lake.

Thank you for pointing out this starting point for hikes / MTB tours 👍🙂. I hiked the big lap with my dog, it's pretty much exactly 19 km with 355 meters in altitude according to my Garmin watch. Beautiful hilly route with some forest roads, especially in the southern part but also many single trails past some lakes. Endless blueberries 😋
