Zurich Main Station – Transportation Hub and Historic Monument Zurich Main Station is not only the largest but also one of the oldest train stations in Switzerland. A single journey currently costs CHF 4.40. There is also a hiking trail right next to/under the railway. However, this is relatively steep and takes a little longer. The cable car ride took about five minutes.
