As of April 23, it's (still) under renovation, but will probably be finished very nicely. Fitted out in February 2025, but still not finished. Very unsightly concrete wall, how is something like that approved? October 25, still the same...

The castle is still being renovated, but will be a gem when it's finished.

The castle in Bietingen is privately owned today and can therefore not be visited. From the outside the complex looks very well maintained. On an information board you can read a bit about the history of the castle.

I ride my racing bike past Girsberg Castle several times a week. The road is good and you are away from the traffic.
