A small hiker's hut equipped with beds and a stove. Incredibly well-preserved and maintained. A wood storage area, a grill, and a simple outhouse are available.

The hut is a replica of a charcoal burner's hut (Kolarkoja). It has benches around a table and a rustic fireplace. The benches are so wide that you could sleep on them (2 places). It smells quite musty, probably because of the way it is built. Perhaps this is a mistake if the fire is turned on more often.

Wind shelter with 3-4 sleeping places. In front of it a fireplace with grill and benches. Firewood (sawhorse, saw, axe) was available (end of July 2024). A stream flows below. There would also be space to set up a small tent here. Not far away there is a spring. I drank the water as it was without any problems, if you want to be on the safe side just boil it. There is an outhouse between the Vindskydd and the Kolarkoja hut.

there are many refuges on the Bergslag Trail. About every 15km one. This is particularly beautiful. The best part: a wooden bathing ladder led into the black lake. It is nicely secluded, but a few joggers came by in the evening.
