The road here goes along the southern shore of Öljaren lake, a gem in the Södermanland region. The smooth winding road hugs the water's edge, offering stunning views. In the nearby village of Österåker you can have a break from your ride.

Vingåker is a town and a great destination for cyclists, with rolling countryside and charming village vibes. You will pedal through scenic farmland, dotted with red cottages. Explore historic churches, enjoy tranquil lake views, and refuel at local cafes.

The Häggsjön lake is surrounded by dense reeds, but there is a tiny jetty that barely reaches the edge of the reeds, but is enough to get to the water and even swim if you're not too picky. The shelter itself is nice and offers a fireplace as well as a bench. The surrounding ground is quite overrun by ants. A little bit west of the shelter is a small path that leads to an outhouse.

Ljusgryten seems to be a fishing oriented lake with many small jettys along the sides as well as some basic shelters. Most jettys are pretty high up from the water and not really good for swimming from. There are also a few spots with benches and fireplaces.

There is some flat ground here with a fireplace and a simple bench. The spot is pretty close to the road.
